Textured Paper

Textured Paper

Textured paper refers to paper stock that has been embossed or manufactured with a deliberately irregular surface pattern. Unlike smooth-coated or uncoated papers, textured paper features a visible and tactile finish—such as ridges, grooves, or fabric-like surfaces—that adds depth and character to the printed piece. These patterns can be subtle or pronounced, depending on the specific texture and intended application.

Textured paper offers distinctive tactile finishes that enhance the visual and sensory appeal of printed products. It is often used for book covers, presentation folders, invitation cards, certificates, and premium packaging.

Textured Paper Weight and Thickness

Our textured papers are available in a range of weights, allowing you to choose the right balance of flexibility, durability, and visual impact for your print project. Below is a reference chart showing the typical thickness for each paper weight:

  • 90 gsm — approximately 0.009 mm
  • 110 gsm — approximately 0.012 mm
  • 130 gsm — approximately 0.014 mm
  • 160 gsm — approximately 0.017 mm
  • 210 gsm — approximately 0.025 mm
  • 240 gsm — approximately 0.029 mm
  • 275 gsm — approximately 0.033 mm
  • 330 gsm — approximately 0.038 mm

Heavier weights offer increased rigidity and tactile strength, making them ideal for covers, packaging, or decorative elements, while lighter weights are suitable for interior pages or inserts that still benefit from a subtle texture.
