What Is a Straight Tuck End Box?

The straight tuck end box is a popular solution for several kinds of retail packaging. These boxes look great on shelves or in window displays and they have two openings, one at both ends, so access to the products is easy. Fully customizable and brandable, they’re excellent cartons for housing and presentation of your products.

Structural and Style Features of Straight Tuck End Boxes

Straight tuck end boxes are designed on a single sheet of card or paperboard—typically 250  to 350 gsm C1S paperboard, E-corrugated cardboard or F-corrugated cardboard —which we print with your custom artwork and text, before die-cutting, folding, and gluing to make the final carton. We can provide them pre-assembled or flat-packed for storage and self-assembly. A popular option is to die-cut a window in the front of the box so that your customers can catch a glimpse of the product inside.

Which Products Are Best Suited to Straight Tuck End Boxes?

Straight tuck end boxes are an ideal solution for packaging smaller, lightweight items such as light cosmetics, soaps, perfumes, pharmaceuticals, and small-scale electronics.

Straight Tuck End Box Material Options

Straight tuck end boxes are normally made of either C1S (coated one side) paper or cardboard. Kraft paper, colored paper board, and corrugated paper are also options. Which materials you choose depends on your design needs and your budget. Cardboard is stronger and more rigid than paper, but C1S paper may be better for full-color printing and customization. Kraft paper is a good choice if you want a natural look or the carton is intended for eco-friendly products.
