Every style is offset printed on 250 to 350 gsm C1S paperboard as standard, with kraft, recycled, metallic, and soft-touch boards available. Add matte or gloss lamination, soft-touch coating, spot UV, foil stamping, embossing or debossing, and die-cut windows or hang tabs. We can also add inserts, dividers, and tamper-evident sealing. What is the difference between a straight tuck and a reverse tuck end box?
On a straight tuck end box, both the top and bottom flaps open from the same direction, usually the front, for a clean, uniform face. On a reverse tuck end box, the flaps tuck from opposite directions, which uses slightly less material and costs a little less. Straight tuck looks tidier on a shelf; reverse tuck is the budget workhorse. Both ship flat and suit light retail products.
Which box style is best for heavier products?
For heavier products, choose a tuck top auto bottom box or a tuck top snap lock bottom box. The auto bottom is pre-glued and pops into a strong base, ideal for bottles, jars, and glassware on fast packing lines. The snap lock locks without glue for a sturdy base at lower cost. Both carry more weight than a simple tuck end box.
Which custom box style is the most economical?
The reverse tuck end box is the most economical folding carton because it uses the least material and assembles quickly. It ships flat and suits light products like soap, candles, and stationery. If you need a stronger base on a budget, a snap lock bottom adds strength without the cost of an auto bottom, and larger order quantities lower the per-box price further.
Which box style is best for retail shelf or peg display?
For shelf display, a straight tuck end box gives a clean front face, and a die-cut window shows the product inside. For peg or hook display, choose a tuck end box with a hang tab, which is perforated and reinforced to hang on a pegboard. A printed sleeve also works as a quick branded display layer over a tray or inner box.
Can you make a custom box shape that is not a standard style?

Most folding styles can take a die-cut window, a hang tab for peg displays, or both. We plan the die line so the window and hang hole stay clear of your key artwork. Do you ship outside the US?
Yes. We ship door to door to customers across the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, Europe, and worldwide. Orders to the US arrive DDP, with duties and tariffs handled for you. For Canada, the UK, Australia, and Europe, delivery is DDP excluding local GST or VAT, so you only settle local sales tax on arrival. Your rep confirms the full landed cost before you order.
