What Are Corrugated Boxes?
Corrugated boxes are packaging boxes made from corrugated board, which consists of a fluted corrugated sheet sandwiched between one or more flat linerboards. This structure provides strength, cushioning, and durability while remaining lightweight, making corrugated boxes widely used for retail packaging, shipping, and product protection.
Unlike paperboard boxes, corrugated boxes offer enhanced resistance to compression and impact, making them suitable for both primary packaging and outer shipping cartons.
Corrugated Box Sizes
Our corrugated boxes can be produced in custom sizes to match different products, packing methods, and logistics requirements. There is no single standard size for corrugated boxes, as dimensions are typically determined by the product’s length, width, height, and required clearance.
Common considerations when choosing corrugated box sizes include:
- Product dimensions and orientation inside the box
- Whether inserts or partitions are used
- Shipping and palletization requirements
- Storage and stacking efficiency
Choosing the right size helps reduce excess space, improve protection, and lower shipping costs.
How to Measure a Corrugated Box?
Corrugated boxes are measured using internal dimensions, listed in the following order:
Length × Width × Height (L × W × H)
- Length: the longest side of the box opening
- Width: the shorter side of the box opening
- Height: the distance from the top opening to the bottom of the box
Accurate internal measurements ensure the product fits properly and allows space for inserts, padding, or protective materials when needed.
Materials
E-Flute—you can use this 1/16″ thick version for many kinds of boxes, including folding rather than rigid designs. Most of our E-flute corrugated cardboard is made from brown kraft stock and we recommend covering it with 250 gsm / 168 lb C1S (coated on one side) paper.

What is the turnaround time?
Production usually takes 7-10 days after you approve the proof. Shipping time depends on your location and the shipping method.
Do you provide dieline templates for boxes?
Yes. Standard templates are available for download on our template page. For custom box shapes, contact us and we’ll prepare a personalized dieline.
Which file types can I send?
Please submit high-resolution PDF files with 3 mm bleed, CMYK colors, embedded fonts, and 300 DPI images.
Can you print with white ink or Pantone color?
Yes, both Pantone spot colors and white ink printing are available.
Do you provide samples before mass production?
Of course. We offer hard proofs, digital proofs, and finished samples so you can check colors, finishes, and materials before full production.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship globally via sea and air freight, ensuring safe delivery to your destination.
Do you offer design services?
We don’t offer design services, but we do provide free artwork checks to ensure your files meet printing and structural requirements.
