About the Comic
Shape-Man is a shape-shifting alien who crash lands on Earth. He’s not sure who he is or how he got here, and because he’s a shapeshifter… he’s not even sure what he is. He’s adopted by a father and daughter duo who teach him what it means to be human. And, what’s more, a hero! It’s a story about finding your identity. Because when you can be literally anything — take on any shape — what do you choose to be?
In this debut collected edition by indie comics creator Breyden Boyd, enjoy a new superhero universe from the mind of a kid. Every story inside is based on original characters from Boyd’s childhood drawings. Amazing artists Sean Peacock, Nicholas Malara, Marcus Cripps, Selene Monterrosa, and Anthony Carranza lend a hand in bringing this whole thing to life!
Breyden is the head honcho behind Shape. The whole thing started back in his freshman year of college when he self-published the first Shape-Man comic, written and drawn my himself. Realizing he couldn't do it alone, he began to bring on other creators to help. Today, he does a little bit of everything: writing, drawing, business-ing, bird watching, and making sure that this thing runs as smoothly as college-bedroom-ran comic studio can.

Printing soft cover and hard cover books was something I wasn't totally familiar with going into this. The team here was patient and helpful, answering any questions I had along the way (of which there were many). The products turned out great as well!
