What is the minimum order quantity for custom chocolate boxes?
The minimum order quantity is 300 boxes per design for folding cartons, rigid boxes, and corrugated boxes. Orders of 2,000 boxes or more usually achieve a significantly better unit price because the printing and setup costs are spread across a larger quantity.
Can the box touch unwrapped chocolate?
No. Our printed boxes are intended as secondary outer packaging. Chocolate should be wrapped, sealed, or held in a suitable food-contact tray or liner before it is placed in the box.
What dimensions do you need for a chocolate bar box?
Send the length, width, and thickness of the fully wrapped bar, including folded wrapper ends or seals. A physical sample is helpful when the wrapper shape is irregular or the fit needs to be especially close.
Can you make inserts for truffles or assorted chocolates?
Yes. We can create paperboard partitions, raised paperboard bases, or fitted supports for supplied trays or individually wrapped chocolates. The insert material and construction depend on the product layout, weight, and presentation requirements.
Can several flavors use the same box structure?
Yes. When the finished dimensions and construction are identical, multiple flavors can share the same dieline and cutting die. Each artwork version is normally quoted separately, while combined production may reduce shared packing and shipping costs.
Can you add a window to a chocolate box?
Yes. Windows can be rectangular or custom die-cut and can include a clear film patch when appropriate. The opening should be positioned so it does not weaken folds, locks, or narrow panels.
Which finishes work well for premium chocolate packaging?
Foil stamping, embossing, debossing, soft-touch lamination, spot UV, textured paper, and contrasting sleeves are common choices. The best combination depends on the artwork detail, box structure, budget, and desired production quantity.
Will the box protect chocolate from heat?
No. A printed retail or gift box does not provide temperature control. Heat-sensitive chocolate may require insulated packaging, cool packs, or another suitable logistics solution during transport.
Can I approve a sample before mass production?
Yes. Paid sample options include blank structural samples, digital prototypes, GMG color proofs, and finished production samples. We will recommend the most suitable option based on what you need to evaluate.
How long does production take?
Standard folding chocolate cartons normally take about 2–3 weeks after proof approval. Rigid gift boxes, fitted inserts, or extensive hand finishing may require around three weeks or longer. Shipping time is additional.
