Paperboard Options
Coated paperboard supports strong color, smooth gradients, and detailed character or product artwork. Kraft or uncoated stocks can create a more handmade look, while rigid gift boxes use printed or specialty paper wrapped over greyboard.
Candy Box Features
Add die-cut windows, tear-away panels, tuck locks, auto-bottoms, dispenser openings, carry handles, or inserts according to how the pack will be filled, displayed, and opened. Features should be tested with the actual sealed product.
Finishing Options
Gloss or matte lamination, spot UV, foil stamping, holographic effects, embossing, and metallic papers can reinforce playful, nostalgic, premium, or seasonal positioning. Finishes should support the artwork rather than compete with important product information.
Printing Options
Offset printing is well suited to flavor coding, mascots, illustrated patterns, product photography, promotional panels, barcodes, and fine text. Pantone colors are useful when the same brand color must remain stable across many candy varieties.

FAQs
What is the MOQ for custom candy boxes?
Our minimum order quantity is 300 boxes per design for folding cartons, rigid boxes, and corrugated boxes. Orders of 2,000 boxes or more usually offer a significantly better unit price.
Can candy be placed directly inside the printed box?
No. Candy should be wrapped, bagged, or placed in an appropriate food-contact tray or liner. Our printed box is the secondary outer package.
Can you make a candy box with a clear window?
Yes. We can create standard or custom-shaped die-cut windows and add clear film when suitable. The final size and location must leave enough board around folds, locks, and load-bearing areas.
Can one display box hold several retail units?
Yes. Counter and shelf-display structures can be designed around the number, orientation, and dimensions of the individual packs. Send a physical sample or exact packed dimensions for accurate planning.
Can I use the same box structure for multiple flavors?
Yes. Multiple flavor designs can use the same dieline and cutting die when the finished dimensions and structure are identical. Each artwork version is quoted separately, but producing several SKUs together may simplify production coordination, packing, and shipping.
Do you make dispenser boxes?
Yes, depending on the product and loading method. Perforated tear-away panels, dispensing openings, and display conversions should be tested with the actual packed candy before production.
Which material is best for bright candy artwork?
A smooth coated paperboard is usually the strongest choice for vivid colors, gradients, illustrations, and product photography. Kraft or uncoated board is better when the intended look is natural, nostalgic, or handmade.
Can you produce seasonal candy packaging in smaller runs?
Yes. Our minimum is 300 boxes per design, making it practical to produce seasonal editions, limited releases, and market-test quantities. Orders of 2,000 boxes or more generally offer a significantly better unit price.
Can I add holographic or metallic effects?
Yes. Holographic foil, metallic paper, foil stamping, spot UV, and other effects are available. Fine details, large solid areas, and registration requirements should be reviewed before production.
Can I approve a sample before mass production?
Yes. Paid sample options include blank structural samples, digitally printed prototypes, GMG color proofs, and finished production samples. We will recommend the most suitable option depending on whether you need to evaluate the structure, product fit, color, materials, or finishing. Sample production and shipping fees apply.
