What Is Wire-O Hardcover Book Printing?
A Wire-O hardcover book is built in two parts:
- The outside is a rigid hardcover case made from 2 mm–3 mm gray board. This gray board is wrapped in printed paper and finished with matte, gloss, soft-touch, faux leather, or other premium materials.
- The inside pages are punched and bound with a Wire-O metal loop, rather than glued at the spine.
From the outside, it looks and feels like a traditional hardcover book. Once opened, it acts as a professional Wire-O notebook — it can lie flat on a table and its pages can turn a full 360° around the loops. This combination of techniques results in a book with a professional presentation and a more practical use.
